Manual soldering of wires and cables
Training purpose
  • Gaining theoretical and practical knowledge about making wires and cables connections. Training course is performed based on currently obligatory IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard

Training time length

  • Number of hours: 24
  • Number of participants: 6 - 12

  • Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) at workplace
  • ESD protections
  • Handling of soldering stations
  • Role and features of solders and fluxes
  • Types and build of wires and cables
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard in scope of quality of wire and cables connections (cramping and soldering)
  • Soled wires connections to pike, tube, forked and hook soldering terminals

Training destined for persons

  • Directly involved in mounting or control of wires and cables connections.
